Former Carlow Senior Football defender Benny Kavanagh says getting a win on board is crucial in today’s (Sunday) National League clash at home to Limerick.
Speaking to KCLR, Benny says today’s contest will be the sort of game they will more than likely have to grind giving the weather conditions that are expected to materialize.
He said “The football isn’t pretty this time of the year, but it’s a great competition the National League, it might be a low scoring game with the weather forecast, but it’s just some of them games you have to grind them out and you might win by a point, you might win by two points, but getting a win on the board is crucial now Sunday for Carlow”.
