It’s a busy day for live sport on KCLR this Sunday afternoon as Kilkenny and Carlow’s junior hurling and football champions are in Leinster club semi-final action.

Glenmore, having defeated Kilmacow last month to seal a return to intermediate hurling in 2016 are on home territory this weekend as they host St. Fechin’s of Louth at Nowlan Park at 2pm. If this Sunday is anything like like weekend, it could be a comfortable game for Glenmore after their whitewash of Scoil uí Chonaill.

Michael Walsh and Michael O’Leary will be calling that game for us in Nowlan Park.

At the same time in Navan, Carlow junior football champions Grange take on Curraha with Brendan Hennessy on live commentary. That game is brought to us with thanks to the Golf Bar at Killerig Golf Club and Carlow Concrete Tanks, Drumderry, Bunclody.

Both games are on air, Glenmore on our Kilkenny frequency and Grange on our Carlow frequency. Full commentary is also available online via kclr96fm.com.
