Gorey Rangers Manager Ben Casserly says that Freebooters are one of the favorites for the FAI Junior Cup having already knocked out the defending Cup holders North End United.
Speaking to KCLR, Ben says they were aware of the challenge ahead of them on Sunday…..

“North End need no introduction to Junior Football, they are a class team, Freebooters of course they are always among the favorites to win the FAI Junior Cup so yeah I would certainly have Freebooters up there as one of the favorites to win the competition without a doubt, and they will certainly present us with a challenge that’s for sure”
