Gowran Festival of Speed organiser explains move to Bank Holiday Weekend

Gowran Festival of Speed

Gowran Festival of Speed Committee Member Pat Caulfield says the switch of this years event in Gowran Park to the August Bank Holiday weekend was to make it a bigger and better event.

Speaking to KCLR, Pat givers a flavour as to what will be happening over the long weekend.

He said “We decided that the Festival was getting bigger and better, that we would go to the Bank Holiday weekend and make a real festival out of it so we have a little gig here on Saturday night in that we have a show and shine, a big Car show for the modified car guys, we have some music entertainment, barbecues on that night, then the main event is on the Sunday and then people can stay Sunday night and have a relaxing Monday to head back home so”.
