Graigue-Ballycallan Hurling Chairman Dave O’Neill says they have big plans for the club throughout 2019 to mark the 50th anniversary since the club was founded.
Speaking after the Club picked up the David Buggy Motors KCLR 2018 Club of the Year Award on KCLR, Dave says they will reveal their plans to mark the occasion next weekend.
He said “We had plans in place, We didn’t discuss it with the players, we didn’t discuss it too publicly around Christmas time, but next Saturday night, we are all traveling into Kilkenny, their will be a massive crowd and we are expecting a massive crowd on the night”.
“We are having a victory banquet in the Newpark Hotel at 8pm next Saturday night, and also we are very proud this year that in 2019 it is the 50th anniversary of the formation of the club and we have a programme of events which will be taking place this year” he said.
