Kilkenny Under-16 Camogie manager Damien Donohue says he is not panicking about their defense despite conceding three goals in their All-Ireland Semi-Final victory against Cork last Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR, Damien says the group of girls know what it takes to win on the big day…..
“There is always room for improvement no matter how good or how bad you played, there is always room for improvement”
“I was talking to the girls about one or two of their goals that went and they said, there was a couple of bounces there, they had never seen a ball bounce like that before so I don’t think it really was that bad of a situation that we have to panic about our backs yet”
“A lot of them there now they have won the Under-14 All-Ireland blitz and the Under-15 last year, and are also involved with the schools, the Loreto Schools and a couple of these schools as well. They have won Schools All-Ireland as well. They are a talented bunch and they know what it’s like on the big day”
