Former Limerick Senior Hurler Pat Hartigan says Limerick will face a different animal in Sunday’s All-Ireland Semi-Final having faced Kilkenny in their All-Ireland Quarter-Final victory.
Speaking exclusively to KCLR, Pat has expressed that the hype could have a damaging effect.
“The fact that we beat Kilkenny and the hype that has gone in behind the Limerick Hurling Team particularly in Limerick City and County I think is a little extreme and we have been to two All-Ireland Semi-Finals before and we didn’t get over the line.
“I think this is a chance that we have, but we need to fully understand that the Cork Team that we are performing against have won three Munster Championships since we won our last Munster Championship in 2013,” he said.
