Kilkenny Head Coach Packie Henebry says they will take a lot of heart from the win over Boyne last weekend.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s provincial towns cup last 16 clash away to Ashbourne, Packie says the Boyne Coach was full of praise for them last weekend.
“We played Ashbourne last season before we came down and we narrowly lost in the last game of the season to them.
“Now, I know they have improved, and that we have improved as well so look we have beaten a Division 1A Team so far in the competition and we don’t see any reason why we can’t beat another one.
“There is very little difference between the top of our league and up to the middle of their league so we will take some heart in what the Boyne Coach said to us that we were one of the best teams to play this year.
“Again, we won’t fear them, we will go up and give it our best shot,” he said.
