The draw for the 2023 Bank of Ireland Provincial Towns Cup last sixteen was made on Sunday afternoon.

Kilkenny had already secured a bye into the second round of the competition (last sixteen) with Carlow and Tullow having to come through the first round. Thanks to a 20-15 win on the road to Dundalk on Sunday, Carlow are safely through while Tullow put up big numbers against Athy for the second time in almost as many weeks to progress. Thankfully – for us anyway – all three sides have been kept apart in the draw for the next round.
