For the Carlow & District Football League, it’s all over bar the celebrations for another season.

New Oak Boys wrapped up the last piece of silverware by claiming the Douglas Jewellers Carlow Cup on Saturday evening with a 3-1 win over Parkville United, including another hat-trick this season for Cody Mulhall.

2022/23 Carlow League & Cup Champions

  • Nationalist Premier Division: New Oak Boys
  • Tully’s Travel Division 1: Bagenalstown AFC
  • Whites Pharmacy Division 2: St. Fiacc’s
  • Douglas Jewellers Carlow Cup: New Oak Boys
  • KCLR Carlow Shield: New Oak Boys
  • Keating Memorial Premier Cup: New Oak Boys
  • Tully’s Travel Division 1 Cup: Dolmen Celtic
  • Whites Pharmacy Division 2 Cup: Vale Wanderers B
  • JF Sports U18 Leage: Hanover Harps
  • Kirwan Memorial Youths Cup: Hanover Hardps
  • JF Sports U18 Division 2 League: Hanover Harps
  • JF Sports U18 Division 2 Cup: Burrin Celtic

With club action done and done, the next port of call will be the end-of-season awards, slated for the Seven Oaks Hotel on Friday 9 June. That night will also see the overall player of the year for the Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2 announced along with the club and team of the year awards.

2023 marks the 37th year of the annual awards with more details and ticket information to follow on CarlowSoccer.ie.
