Eire Og Senior Footballer Jordan Morrissey says that the competition for places at the club is frightening.
The three-in-a-row Champions now turn attention to the clash of the Wexford Senior Champions in the first round of the Leinster Championship, and speaking to KCLR after last Sunday’s County Final, Jordan says you can never rest on your laurels even in training.
He said “We are very fortunate in the club to have so many footballers of the quality that we have. 36 lads could play like, the competition is so stiff in Eire Og, our in house games do be as good as our practice matches so yeah it’s great to have competition, you can never rest on your laurels and you always have to fight for that jersey”.
