Kilkenny secured a semi-final All Ireland spot after an impressive display against Wexford on Saturday.
The negatives for the kittens were few and far between however the injury to Kellyann Doyle will be considered a blow and Miriam Bambrick’s red card in the injury time.
Speaking with KCLR Scoreline about the red card manager Brian Dowling said they will have to decide if the decision is worth appealing:
“We’ll have to deal with that during the week and see if that it’s worth appealing, and if it’s not overturned it would be very disappointing alright,” said Brian.
“Miriam has played a lot of league games with us this year and unlucky not to be starting, so she would be a big loss yeah” he added.
Kilkenny will take on Cork in the All Ireland semi-final on Sunday with a time to be confirmed for that game in Croke Park.
