Dunnamaggin Hurling Manager Eamonn Kennedy says they will need to improve if they are to stay-up Intermediate.
Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s All-Ireland Junior Club Final victory over Castleblayney, Eamonn says the way they grinded out Sunday’s victory will help them going forward.
He said “We are in Kilkenny and every team in Kilkenny is very good Intermediate, Senior and Junior so we will have to improve, we will have to improve if we are going to stay-up Intermediate, that’s probably the main-thing, but we do have six or seven younger hurlers coming through from Minor last year so we would be hoping they could spur on things again and give a bit of energy into the training”.
Speaking about the fight showed towards the end of the All Ireland Final, he says it will stand to them “It will, the way we won, we had to struggle to win, we had to fight hard to win it, we didn’t play particularly well but we did win it, so I think it will, I think it will improve us going forward”.
