Kilkenny Senior Hurlers have a number of injury concerns ahead of next weekends Leinster Championship clash with Galway in Salthill.

James Maher missed yesterdays game along with Richie Hogan, Enda Morrissey and Walter Walsh while Conor Fogarty and Lester Ryan also had to come off along with Luke Scanlon.

Manager Brian Cody says its going to be a difficult challenge ahead for his side.

Speaking to KCLR, Brian says that their is no guarantee at this time as to who will definitely be fit to play a part.

“Yeah look, I mean Galway have been in Leinster for the last number of years and I have never a problem with them having a home game the same as anyone else, that’s the reality of it, they are the All-Ireland Champions, we are going over there, and look it’s a fabulous game to be looking forward to.

“It’s going to be so difficult obviously for us with an inexperienced team, but it’s going to be something that we just are really looking forward to.

“Enda has been sick during the week, he should be fine in a couple of days, Walter picked up a muscle injury as well so couldn’t play today, no guarantees for any of them, nut Enda should be fine but no guarantees for the lads for next weekend,” he said.

Kilkenny v Galway is at 4pm Sunday in Salthill and we have Live Coverage of that game on KCLR’s Sunday Scoreline.
