It may be a Paddys weekend like no other for IT Carlow Students as they have two finals to now look forward to.

Rugby

First, in Rugby, the IT Carlow students bested Technological University Dublin, 35 – 15.

They now look forward to the Brendan Johnson Cup Final on March 16th, with the final taking place in the IT Carlow sports ground.

DCU will be standing in the way, hoping to stop IT Carlow from claiming their third Student Sport Ireland / Irish Rugby Football Union Brendan Johnston Cup title.

It marks a fantastic week for Head Coach Johnny Tobin, who also has a final to look forward to with Kilkenny College
