One of those is the AIB Leinster Club senior hurling championships quarter-final match-up of Shamrocks and Castletown Geoghegan.
There is a new man at the helm of Shamrocks this year after James O’Connor decided to step down after the heartbreaking All-Ireland final loss at the hands of Ballygunnar. That man is Pat Hoban, who lead Shamrocks to a record-tying 20th county title last month.
Pat will now be taking charge of his first provincial decider with the club, and speaking to scoreline he said he couldn’t pass on the opportunity to manage one of the country’s best

“It is a huge ask, but it is such an honour. When the opportunity came, anybody who is interested in hurling would have to grab it.”
