Kilkenny senior manager Brian Dowling says it doesn’t matter who they meet in each round of the league, that it’s all about performing well on the day.

They take on Limerick in the division 1 quarter-final this Saturday in Birr while the Intermediates go up against Meath.

Brian says it’s all about building for the championship.

“It’s all about performing well and the result takes care of itself,” said Brian.

“I know it’s a cliche, it’s a boring cliche but it is one game at a time, we’re looking at different things, we’re probably training hard on a Tuesday night and we roll it back then on a Thursday”.

“We do have a training match or a match on a Saturday, so again it’s about getting the girls up to speed and we’ll ramp it up again then big time when it gets to championship hurling” he added.
