It’s a big weekend on the Kilkenny Hurling Front.

James Stephens and O’Loughlins open up all the action by going head-to-head in the Shield Final on Saturday at 1. With that game live on KCLR.

Speaking to KCLR, player Eoin Guilfoyle outlined the effect Brian Cody has had on the team since returning to management with The Village this campaign.

“Last year when he came in, it was definitely very cool. He’s obviously an inspiration to everyone in that dressing room, and now this year he’s the main man.”

“He’s obviously a very inspirational man, so we’ve loved working under him. It’s been class.”

“Hopefully he can bring us all the way this year. He’s been brilliant all year.”
