Conahy Shamrocks Junior Hurling Selector Brian Rossiter says it will be up to the players themselves if they want to drive forward and go one better and win the County Junior decider this year.

Despite losing last October’s County Junior decider to O’Loughlin Gaels, Conahy represented the County in the Junior competitions as they won both the Leinster and All-Ireland Junior Championships and speaking to KCLR after last Saturday’s All-Ireland Final victory, Brian says a lot of hard work and commitment will be required if they are to win the County Championship.

He said “That will be a question that players will have to answer themselves to see what they are going to go about it but I would be hoping they would drive on, but at the end of the day it will be down to hard work and commitment again if they are able to do it”.
