There’s a triple-header of camogie finals in Kilkenny this weekend with Mooncoin and Piltown out first in Saturday’s Junior Final at 2 pm.
Barrow Rangers and James Stephens meet on Sunday in the Intermediate final at 12 pm and Village manager John Scott has told our Camán Caint podcast overnight that his side faces an uphill battle this weekend.
“They will be up against it, against Paulstown, we played Paulstown in the league and it was a draw game, even sitting on the line, you’d be caught up in the game but it was one of the best camogie matches I had seen in a long long time, club wise,” said John.
“That game was actually great camogie” he added.
The third final of the weekend sees Dicksboro take on Piltown at 2 pm on Sunday.
All three games are being held at John Locke Park in Callan with tickets available at the venue each day, see below for more info.
