Leinster GAA have announced the winners of the inaugural Pearse Medals for 2016.
And it’s good news for Kilkenny Hurler Jonjo Farrell who has been selected alongside Dublin Footballer Diarmuid Connolly as the first winners of the award for their performances in this years Leinster Senior Championships.
The Thomastown man was a scoring revelation for Kilkenny in the Leinster Championship by scoring 2-9 from play in the wins over Dublin and Galway as the Cats secured a thrid straight Bob O Keeffe Cup.
