Dicksboro Under-21 Hurling manager Sean Moore says despite a number of the Under-21s been involved with the Senior panel, it doesn’t necessarily guarantee success in the Under-21 grade.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of their clash against St. Lachtains, Sean says that preparations have gone quite well despite not having the full panel together for training.

“Well it has (crossover with senior) obviously because we haven’t had them, but I mean we have 37 on the panel so we still have enough lads to be working with so we are happy enough.

“The lads are all fit and are all in good form so we are happy enough.

“Well we would be hopeful (of their chances), but we can’t take anything for granted just because we won a Senior doesn’t guarantee we will an Under-21 but look, we will be hoping for the best,” he said.
