KCLR Hurling analyst Michael Walsh says that Trainer Jimmy Maher will make St Lachtains hard to beat in the Championship.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of the first round Intermediate Championship clashes this weekend, Michael says that Gowran will be tested by a well organised outfit.
“Freshford had no points going into it(before their final game against Graigue-Ballycallan), they were desperately struggling, but I believe they went back to a sweeper system.
“Jimmy Meagher is back in charge and obviously with Jimmy in charge they are going to be very very well organized.
“Freshford have plenty of good hurlers out there and even though they are in a relegation scrap now, no one will want to play them because Jimmy Meagher will make them very hard to beat,” he said.
