The draw for the quarter-finals of the KCLR Carlow League Shield Tournament has been made with some fascinating games in store in the inaugural season of the tournament.
The draw, that took place live on KCLR’s Scoreline on Saturday afternoon, had seven Premier Division sides in the pot with the only team left in the competition outside of Carlow’s top division being Mill Celtic.
The top two in each group have progressed to this stage of the brand-new tournament and there are aspirations amongst the Carlow District League to complete it before Christmas.

Hanover Harps vs Slaney Rovers
Parkville United vs Kilree Celtic
Mill Celtic vs Crettyard United
Killeshin FC vs New Oak
The fixtures are due to take place on the weekend of October 2.
