The premier league season is well and truly underway, which means so is KCLR’s fantasy football league. Would-be managers are either celebrating their tactical genius for securing Norwich’s Pukki early on, or cursing themselves for trusting Liverpool’s defense over the past two weeks.
Although the pool have won two out of two, sloppy goals in their games against Southampton and Norwich, will have people considering a transfer this early on, especially with last years Golden Glove winner Alisson injured. Across merseyside Everton’s Jordon Pickford has two clean sheets. Going forward things look good for the stopper, as Everton will face only two of last season top six in the next 12 games, with both being games set to be played at Goodison park. Wolves Rui Patricio tops the goal keeping charts after a great display against Man United last Monday.
Raheem Sterling continues to impress, topping the charts with 26 points , followed closely by Pukki who is on 24. Last season revelation was Raul Jimenez who finished third top scorer with 181 points, will be searching for his first premier league goal against Burnley after being sold by more then 316,000 managers all ready!
Paul Pogba’s penalty miss resulted in him receiving no points this week, with him seemingly off penalty duties for the foreseeable future one has to wonder if a transfer isn’t to far away, both in real life and this fantasy world.
Michael Cotter’s Clubdefutbol Dundalk tops the KCLR league charts with a mind boggling 153 points with Pukki been handed captaincy for the second week and Kane having captaincy the first week, that amounted to a total 60 points from those two players alone.
