Peter Funchion from the Kells Handball Club is hopeful he can upset the odds and defeat Diarmuid Nash in Saturday’s 4 Wall All-Ireland Men’s Senior Singles Championship Quarter-Final clash.
Speaking to KCLR, Peter is relishing the challenge of one of Ireland’s top players.
“He is I suppose he is one of Ireland’s No. 1 players at the minute. Last year, he won every tournament bar one so I am going to have it up against me, and I will definitely be the underdog going in, but look I will see what I can pull out of the bag, I am going in hoping to pull it off but we will see”
