The kick-off times for this year’s EPCR Challenge Cup and the Heineken Champions Cup finals – both of which are taking place in Dublin – have been confirmed.

This year’s EPCR Challenge Cup Final will get underway at 8pm on Friday 19 May at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium while the Heineken Champions Cup will take place the following evening with a 4.45pm kick-off.

It’s been ten years since RC Toulon claimed the biggest trophy in European rugby on Irish soil with a win over ASM Clermont Auvergne – Leinster taking the Challenge Cup that year against Stade Francais Paris.

Over 60,000 tickets have already been sold for the finals weekend in May. Both competitions resume for the opening fixtures of the knockout stages on Friday 31 March.

We’ll have more on this year’s big cup competitions along with a look-ahead to this weekend’s Provincial Towns Cup action on The Knock On, our dedicated rugby podcast, out this Thursday.
