Bring it on.

The Cats get their claws into the National Hurling League in February with a first outing for Brian Cody’s men away to Cork under the lights on Saturday 27 January.

Kilkenny broke even on the scoring front in Division 1A last year, bagging 5-85 for themselves while conceding 6-82 in the process over the five games in 2017. Of those five games, Kilkenny lose their first two at home to Waterford and away to Clare before seeing off Cork in round 3.

Almost 15,000 watched Kilkenny and Tipperary play out a frenetic 2-17 to 3-14 draw at Semple Stadium in round 4 before finishing with a win 2-20 to 1-16 win over Dublin at the end of March.

Kilkenny’s first home game for 2018 comes in round 2 of the league with Clare providing the opposition on Sunday 4 February.

From there, it’s a trip to Walsh Park to take on Waterford in round 3 (18 February), a visit from Tipperary to Nowlan Park on Sunday 25 February before concluding with a home encounter against Wexford on Sunday 4 March.

Stay on board with Kilkenny this year and follow all the action live on air and on KCLRfanzone.com.
