Big weekend of Camogie in Carlow and Kilkenny

Kilkenny and Carlow have discovered who they will be facing this summer after the draw for the All-Ireland Championship was made on Sunday afternoon.

Brian Dowling’s All-Ireland champions will face Westmeath and Clare in Group 3. The standout tie in that group, however, is a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland final as Galway will look to avenge their defeat to Kilkenny last December.

The Kilkenny intermediate team make a return to the All-Ireland series after they were ineligible to take part in 2020. They will have three tough encounters against Cork, Kildare and Antrim as they go in search of an All-Ireland title.

Carlow are in Group 1 of the Intermediate Championship. They have ties with Dublin, Cork and Meath to look forward to in what promises to be an exciting year for all involved with Carlow camogie.

Details of confirmed fixtures, venues and times will be issued out in due course.
