Tipp Senior Camogie manager Brian Boyle says that Kilkenny are definite All-Ireland contenders this year.
Speaking to KCLR, Brian says that they relish playing against the top teams in the country…..
“After winning their league, and the manner in which they won the league, you would have to suggest that they are contenders, that’s why it’s an ideal opportunity for both teams to get into one of these Inter-County pitches like Semple Stadium on Saturday and see where their fitness levels and skill levels and so on are”
“Yeah, you would have to say they are contenders and that’s why we like playing teams in this because you want to be playing against teams that are contending in Championships to see where you can get to yourself in relation to them, and no amount of challenge matches or anything like that can replicate what those games can give you”
