Kilkenny came from 15 points behind at half-time to secure a losing bonus point away to Ashbourne in Division 1A of the Leinster League on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts raced into a 15-0 lead at the interval as they dominated the opening 40 minutes.
Needing an inspired second half performance to get anything from the game, Kilkenny looked like a completely different outfit as they managed to claw themselves back into the game and secure a losing bonus point with a 15-10 defeat.
While it is yet another away day loss for Kilkenny, the point backs up last weekend’s winning bonus point against Seapoint and improves their chances of progressing up the league.
