Kilkennys Camogie Board has announced its new management line up for 2016.
The Senior and Intermediate sides will have new faces for next season and both sets were ratified after their AGM in Nowlan Park this week.
The Senior team will be looked after by Paddy Mullally from Glenmore, Connor Phelan from Clara and Ann Downey from Lisdowney. They’re a proven group having won the Ashbourne Cup with Waterford Institute of Technology this year. They also have All Ireland medals themselves with the county. Ann Downey of course is a former manager of the Senior side. Selectors for the side will be named in the coming weeks but nevertheless, it’s a big task that awaits them as they try to get the O’Duffy Cup back for the first time since 1994.
The Intermediate management team is Mike Wall from Callan, Sally Teehan and Ger Walsh from Thomastown. The group brought success to the Minor side this year winning the Leinster and All Ireland titles for 2015. They’ve already had a while to settle in to the role as they guided the Intermediate through this years group stages.
