Kilkenny Senior Camogie Joint Captain Anna Farrell says the extra training and matches in the early part of the year will stand to them greatly as they attempt to regain the All-Ireland in September.
Kilkenny will look to make it two wins from two in the National League with another home game against Dublin tomorrow, and speaking to KCLR, Anna is looking forward to the challenges ahead.
“Yeah, we are looking forward to it now. The League is you want to keep playing games week after week”.
She said “When you are training in that kind of weather, it’s the hardest thing you will ever do because it’s so freezing cold and your really out on your feet, but I think those are the training sessions that will stand to you because you have to keep pushing yourself along”.
“We haven’t done too much yet, we have Dublin now on Saturday coming so that’s going to be another step-up than Clare again so hopefully we can keep kicking on again and just enjoying it really”.
