Kilkenny Senior Camogie know their intercounty fate as they will be in a group with Limerick, Westmeath and Waterford with the fixtures set to throw in on October 17th.
Kilkenny last won the O’Duffy cup in 2016, and since have lost three finals in a row but Kilkenny Camogie PRO Aoife Lanigan believes this could be their year:
“Three defeats unfortunately, but I think they’re there, they’ve learned different things (from those games)”.
She said “You look at Dublin, Dublin ladies football, they were three years defeated by Cork, and they came back a completely different team in the fourth all Ireland, they’ve won three in a row themselves now, so I think, all the defeats will build but I think Kilkenny are there”.
