Kilkenny Senior Camogie Trainer Brian Dowling says they have no choice but to play a sweeper if the opposition are doing likewise.

Speaking to KCLR after Kilkenny’s National League victory against Dublin last Saturday, Brian says they will mix-up their game plan as the year progresses.

He told KCLR Sport “A lot of it (tactics) can be what the opposition do as well. If the opposition are playing a sweeper, we would have no choice but to play a sweeper so you have try and judge every game as different”.

“We are trying to play our own style and it’s going to take a bit of time to implement it and every game brings on a different thing, we are not just going to play one particular game plan each game, we want to mix it up as we go along during the year” he said.
