It may have quietened down temporarily for a weeks for the Kilkenny and Carlow Senior Hurlers but this weekend sees the minor sides spring into action.
Kilkenny are first up on Saturday when they take on Westmeath at 12pm in Cusack Park Mullingar, while Carlow are in St Conleth’s Park Newbridge for a meeting with Kildare at 3pm.

Meanwhile Carlow will aim to avenge for a recent Leinster Minor League semi final defeat to Kildare.
They will look to the likes of Ciaran Whelan, Jon Nolan and Tony Lawlor to lead the way and a win here would be a big plus given the hype that has surrounded Kildare underage Hurling in recent years.
