While bowing out of Leinster will no doubt be a blow, The Blues now hold the Premier Division in their own hand with two games left after Evergreen drew with Thomastown on Friday night.
Elsewhere Carlow’s New Oak boys have added another trophy to their cabinet after beating rivals Crettyard United. It is a disappointing result for Crettyard no doubt, however, they have a chance to rectify that Wednesday night when they meet New Oak in a separate competition at the semi-final stages.
