St. Kierans manager Tom Hogan says that this weekends Leinster Colleges Final against Kilkenny CBS will take on a life of it’s own.

The local schools go head to head on Sunday at 2.30pm in Nowlan Park.

Speaking to KCLR, Tom says they’ve face some stiff competition on the way including the first round against Borris….

“Championship brings out the best in teams I think and I suppose teams can see how good they (Borris) can be, and they got the very out of themselves and we got the best out of ourselves that day”

“We just barely got over the line but it was sufficient to get to the next round. Well look the CBS match is a completely different ball game”

“The matches we played already are kind of irrelevant now really apart from the fact we got a bit of hurling done. This match will take on a life of it’s own really so it’s hard to know really, what we had done in the past really might have no bearing on the match next Sunday week”.

We’ll have LIVE commentary of the game here on KCLR on Sunday.
