Kilkenny City Harriers athlete Aoibhe Richardson preparing for indoor season in the US

After a year that seen Aoibhe Richardson compete for Ireland at the European Cross Country Championships, the Kilkenny City Harriers athlete returns to the track next week to start the new season.

She’s currently doing a scholarship in Portland Oregan and representing the college in the track events.

Speaking to KCLR she says she’s back to training from Monday for the indoor season but its more to prepare for the bigger outdoor events in spring.

Aoibhe won the KCLR & David Buggy Motors Sport Star Award for November 2018, she was presented with her award recently.
