Team Aspect was yesterday declared Four Person Team champions after finishing first in the Race Around Ireland cycle which got underway on Sunday in Trim.
The foursome of Seamus Nash, John Dowd, Cathal Phillips & Pat Maher finished the 2,153km course in 71 hours & 43 minutes.
All are members of Deenside Wheelers Cycling Club in Castlecomer & they were using the event to fundraise for the Aspect Center at SOS Kilkenny.
