Kilkenny have an All-Ireland junior football semi-final on their hands this weekend.

Following their win over Warwickshire to claim another British Junior Football Championship crown, Kilkenny’s footballers are back in action this coming Saturday.

While Kilkenny and Galway do battle in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship on Sunday in Semple Stadium, Nowlan Park will host the same county’s junior football sides at 4pm on Saturday.

Sean Lonergan is down to referee with extra time to be played, if needed, to determine who makes this year’s final.

The winners of Kilkenny and Galway will face the winners of Kildare and Kerry, with this year’s final set to be played on the weekend of 21/22 July.
