Kilkenny Gaelic Football manager Christy Walsh says he would be disappointed if they weren’t in contention coming towards the end of their All-Ireland Semi-Final clash against Galway on Saturday.
Speaking to KCLR, Christy says they have left no stone unturned in their preparations.
“We need to be competitive for the whole 70 minutes.
“We need to be in the game, that would be the ideal and I would be disappointed if we weren’t.
“We have good footballers, like they have been training with their hurlers the whole year along with the bit of football they have done with us so we should be fit enough.
“I think we are good enough footballers to be in the game coming towards the end and that’s our hope I suppose and I would be disappointed if we weren’t,” he said.
