Birmingham beckons this Sunday for the Kilkenny footballers as they chase another British Junior Championship.

It’s familiar territory for the Cats as they meet Warkwickshire in the final of this year’s competition. The sides met in the same fixture last July, Kilkenny running out 3-16 to 1-6 winners. A win over Warwickshire again would make it three titles in a row.

Pairc na hÉireann hosts the game this Sunday 24 June with a Kilkenny secured their place in this year’s final with a comprehensive 2-13 to 1-8 semi-final win over Scotland in Leeds last weekend. Warwickshire saw off Hertfordshire 0-13 to 1-07 in their semi-final.
