With the Michael Lyng Motors intermediate hurling league in Kilkenny taking centre stage this past weekend, it’s all systems go again on the senior, intermediate and junior front to round out hurling in August.
Senior action get underway with two games on Friday as Thomastown provides the backdrop for the meeting of Mullinavat and Clara while Glenmore and Bennettsbridge square off in Inistioge, both underway at 6.45pm.
UPMC Nowlan Park also hosts two games this weekend including the city derby between the Village and O’Loughlin’s on Saturday afternoon, immediately followed by the meeting of county champions Shamrocks and Erin’s Own of Castlecomer.
Both the senior and intermediate leagues are heading into round four with the junior league in round six action.
