As the Allianz Hurling League continues to deliver nail-biting encounters, all eyes are on Kilkenny as they prepare to face Waterford this Saturday at 3 PM, airing live on KCLR.

After a hard-fought battle ended in a disappointing defeat against Clare, the team is eager to redeem themselves and reclaim victory under the guidance of manager Derek Lyng.

Kilkenny has made significant changes to their starting lineup. Paddy Deegan will be moving to the half-back line alongside Mikey Carey. Meanwhile, Shane Murphy will be transitioning to the midfield. Joining him in midfield is Cian Kenny, who was impressive there against Cork.

One of the most notable changes in the lineup is the inclusion of John Donnelly, who impressed as a substitute in the previous match against Clare. Donelly’s skill and determination have earned him a well-deserved start, injecting additional firepower into Kilkenny’s forward line.

With last weekend’s forwards will be taking on roles further back the field. , Darragh Corcoran and Richie Reid find themselves missing out on a starting position this time around. Additionally, Harry Shine will also be absent from the lineup, making way for Luke Hogan to step in as a direct replacement. In the full-forward line, Kilkenny fans will see Mossy Keoghan taking up a prominent position

As the team gears up for this crucial match, they understand the importance of securing a victory against a resilient Waterford side led by manager Davy Fitzgerald. With both teams hungry for success and eager to bounce back from recent defeats, Saturday’s clash promises to be a thrilling spectacle filled with intensity and determination.
