Ballyhale native Luke Donnolly is happy to have made the cut and get his European tour card for the season.
Luke was competing out in Spain last week, and speaking to KCLR, Luke says the qualification process for him was a bit easier for him to achieve.
He said “Luckily enough, I didn’t have to go to stage one because of my finish last year, so I just had to go back to the final stage”.
“It’s basically the top eighty and ties make the cut after two days, so the cut fell at plus one and I was four under going into the final day, so I kind of cruised through the cut and then didn’t play my best golf on the final day but happy enough to get through, get a card for the season ahead and I can play it basically in all the events which was the main thing to do” he said.
