Kilkenny’s minor camogie starlets continued their winning ways in the Tesco All-Ireland Minor A Championship at the weekend with a six point win over Clare.

The referee had deemed the pitch in Fr. McNamara Park unplayable before yesterday’s 2pm throw-in leading to a change in venue to Lisbeggan (Kilmaley GAA).

It’s the second win on the trot for Mike Wall’s side who are guaranteed at least a spot in this year’s quarter-finals.

Carlow got their Minor B championship started on the road to Offaly but suffered a heavy defeat, losing out 6-27 to 0-02.
