Michael Ducksy Walsh, a man known for his vast array of All Ireland and World Handball accolades booked his place in the All Ireland Senior Doubles final along with Talbots Inch teammate Ciaran Neary in Abbeylara in Longford.
The local men defeated CJ Fitzpatrick and Evan Murphy from Limerick 21-19 21-16 in the Semi Finals to set up a final showdown with Eoin Kennedy and Carl Browne Dublin in two weeks time.
Also at the weekend, Kilfanes Billy O Keeffe in his local alley booked his place in the All Ireland Silver Masters B singles Semi final beating Michael Clerkin from Monaghan.
Billy won convincingly in two games 21-3 21-10 and now faces Galway opposition in the All Ireland final.
The second game in Kilfane at the weekend saw local girl Aoife Holden team up with Windgaps Deirdre Purcell to play Eilise McCrory and Aoife Kelly Tyrone in the All Ireland Ladies Minor Doubles semi final.
They also won convincingly in two game 21-1 21-6 and now play Roscommon in the All Ireland final.
