Kilkenny Senior Hurler All-Star Padraic Walsh says they are progressing on the right track in their attempt to regain the All-Ireland title for the first time since 2015.

Speaking after he picked up his 2nd All-Star last year, Padraic says there is unfinished business especially after the disappointment of losing the All-Ireland Final.

He said “Yeah, yeah we were very close, got to the All-Ireland which was an improvement from the year before for us, but we still didn’t get over the line so that will be our main next year as we try to improve on that”.

“We definitely showed improvement there this year, all the young lads got more experience which was great so look things are looking at the moment, we are definitely on the way up so just hopefully we can keep that going”.
