Saturday 22nd October

Kilkenny Minor Roinn A Hurling Final

Ballyhale Shamrocks V James Stephens 2.45pm Nowlan Park

This one will be tight, Ballyhale Shamrocks have some great individuals with lots of talent but the balance in the James Stephens side could be a big factor also.

Verdict: Ballyhale Shamrocks

Senior Hurling Relegation Final

Fenians V Danesfort 4.15pm – Palmerstown

This will be a very tough battle and I think whoever wins the battle between Richie Hogan and JJ Delaney will be key.

Verdict: Danesfort

Intermediate Hurling Relegation Final

Conahy Shamrocks V Young Irelands 4.15pm – St John’s Park

I think this will be a dogfight but I think Gowran will prevail

Verdict: Young Ireland’s

Sunday 23rd October

Junior Hurling Semi Final

Mooncoin V Barrow Rangers 12.45pm – Nowlan Park

Barrow Rangers have some very good hurlers but I think Mooncoin are a more balanced team all round.

Verdict: Mooncoin

Intermediate Hurling Semi Finals

Glenmore V Tullogher Rosbercon 2.30pm – Nowlan Park

Glenmore’s firepower and the return of Ger Aylward may swing things in their favour here.

Verdict: Glenmore

Tullaroan V Carrickshock 4.15pm – Nowlan Park

Again I think Tullaroan’s firepower will be enough and it will be interesting to see if Richie Power can make a contribution for Carrickshock.

Verdict: Tullaroan
